Annual General Meeting

The Canmore Community Gardening Society is registered in the Province of Alberta and is therefore required to hold an annual meeting each year for the following purposes:

  • to elect a President, Secretary, Treasurer, and at least two and not more than four directors. The term of a director is one year with the option to renew for a maximum of two additional years.
  • to elect two members of the society to audit the books and records for the coming year
  • the Treasurer shall present a duly-audited statement of the financial position of the society
